Stay Away from Hard, Sticky & Sugary Foods

Hard, sticky and sugary foods are your braces nemesis! Your teeth will be sensitive when you first get braces, but it is best to avoid the following items throughout the course of treatment. Hard foods can break or damage the wires and brackets that are working to straighten your teeth, and sticky foods can get caught in-between, making it difficult to clean. Sugary foods can lead to more cavities and are good to avoid overall throughout treatment.
